Applied Behavior Analysis is the application of behavioral principles to everyday situations that will, overtime, increase or decrease targeted behaviors. ABA has been used to help individuals acquire many different skills, such as language skills, self-help skills, and play skills.
In addition, these principles can help to decrease maladaptive behaviors such as aggression, self-stimulatory behaviors, and self-injury.
WHOLE CHILD APPROACH
Professionals at Brighter Future believe in the whole child approach (integrated services). If a child is sick, he/she is less likely to be motivated to learn, thus, we collaborate with medical providers to ensure the child's overall health is maintained so he/she will have optimal learning in response to the ABA services he/she receives from us.
MOTIVATIONAL AND REINFORCING
We at Brighter Future have extensive knowledge and experience with children. Children find our approach reinforcing, responding to our style of interaction because we modify them based on the child's unique characteristics.
LOCATION OF SERVICES
At Brighter Future we provide individualized services rather than one size fits all. We focus our attention on developing a plan matched solely to your child's specific needs. We provide services in whatever location your child needs them, rather than having the child come to an office or clinical setting.
We collaborate with other professionals including speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers, and group home staff to develop a comprehensive intervention plan.
Our attitude towards parents and caregivers is unmatched. We believe parents know their children best and are instrumental in the success of their child's program.
